Sometimes you run into writer's block. Especially when you are working on a long story or book. So, how do you get around writer's block? It's easy:
With every story, you have to have characters. Each character (if written well) has their own personality and their own history and their own take on life. So pick one of your more interesting characters and elaborate on them. You can go as far back as you want into their history, you can go into their future, or you can write about their side of the story you are currently writing.
So, for those who have been keeping up with the "Taske Force" story (http://taskeforce.blogspot.com/), here is a take on it by Nathan Wolv. Nathan is the violent and wild best friend of Josh Taske. In "Taske Force" you first see him puttering up to Josh's driveway on a dying motorcycle, looking to warn his best friend that Josh's uncle is out to kill him again.
But where was Nathan before that? Throughout the story you hear little tidbits about him and his past from Scarlet, Wraith, and Josh, but what is his take on his life?
So, I decided to write "Taske Force: Nathan's Journal". The personal account of the events in "Taske Force" from the eyes of the Wolf himself.
So read, and enjoy.
